If you are interested in helping Mark Warner win a US Senate seat in 2008, you are looking at the correct meetup group. Let us not assume that a Mark Warner win in 2008 is a 'slam dunk' deal. The Republicans are going to aggressively try to prevent another US Senate seat from going to the Democrats. Any Virginian that view's Mark Warner favorably should consider joining this group; Republican, Democrat or Independent. Both Mark Warner and Jim Webb will serve as models for other states in helping get America back on track.

The purpose of this meetup group is discuss how we can each contribute something to Mark Warner's campaign. It can be as simple as talking to a neighbor, distributing bumper stickers, making a few phone calls, or e-mailing a few friends. This meetup group will provide you with some simple techniques for this grass roots effort. As a group we can create a tidal wave of support for Mark Warner and it is never too early to start.
