On Tuesday, the Golden Gate Bridge district released the results of a $2million study to build a suicide barrier on the Golden Gate Bridge. The study proposes several options ranging from $25 - $50million.
An average of 25 people a year kill themselves each year by jumping from the bridge. Opponents to the barrier argue that a barrier will simply move those suicides elsewhere.
What do you think? How much money should we spend to prevent suicide? Should we even be trying to prevent it?
